What is Online Check-In and how does it work?

Online Check-In (OCI) is a mandatory pre-race step that you must complete before Race Packs are issued for raceday. OCI allows us to verify your race readiness and capture important compliance information in advance, making your race day experience smoother and faster.

What do I need to do?

You will receive an email with a link to complete your Online Check-In in the weeks before race day. During the process, you will be asked to:

  • Sign the Race Waiver – confirming you accept the event terms and conditions
  • Complete a Medical Declaration – declaring any medical conditions the event team should be aware of
  • Confirm your Race Licence – providing your Triathlon Ireland membership number or One Day Membership details

When should I complete it?

FOR POSTAL ENTRANTS: Online Check-In opens on Wed 6 May 2026. We strongly recommend completing it as soon as you receive the link as Race Packs will only be dispatched when this step is done. If postal entrants do not complete Online Check-In by 20 May then their Race Pack can not be issued by post and they must then pick-it up in person at Athy

.

FOR ALL OTHER ENTRANTS: Online Check-In opens on Thursday 21st May 2026. You must complete Online Check-In before arriving to Athy to collect your Race Pack – without it, our Pack Pick-Up team will not be able to process you.

What happens after I check in?

Once you successfully complete Online Check-In, your details are verified and flagged in our system and you are ready to have your Race Pack issued (whether receiving by post or picking up in-person). Online Check-In speeds up the process and removes major administrative bottlenecks for everyone on raceday.

Please make sure you have your Race Licence sorted before starting the check-in. See our Race Licence article for details on the different licence types accepted at TriAthy.
